N. Oscar Miyashita (FDMS '74)
N. Oscar Miyashita graduated from the University of San Diego and earned his CPA license right our college. Upon returning to Guam, he founded Ernst & Young, LLC and grew the business to the success it is today. He currently serves as Senior Advisor. Mr. Miyashita is also a certified college planner and devotes much of his time helping FDMS Juniors and Seniors plan for their post-graduate education.
Gerald S. A. Perez (FDMS '60)
Mr. Gerald SA Perez, or “Gerry”, is a senior consultant of Allied Business and is a seasoned executive with wide senior level corporate, government, and NGO experience. He has done business in, and traveled extensively, throughout Micronesia, American Samoa, French Polynesia, Oceania, and Asia. Presently, he is the Vice-President of Micromed Suppliers, a small medical equipment and surgical supply company he founded more than 20 years ago. Furthermore, he is the immediate past president of Skal International Asia, which is the largest association of tourism professionals (2008-2013). Gerry was also the Board Chairman for the Guam Chamber of Commerce (2013) and is currently the President of the Micronesia Cruise Association since 2012. Holds BS (forestry) and MS (wildlife management) degrees from the University of Idaho and attended the East West Center Technology and Development Institute at University of Hawaii where the comparative economic development models of the Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, and Micronesia were studied. Currently an Adjunct Professor at University of Guam, School of Business and Public Administration. Courses taught include entrepreneurship, marketing, organizational management, and consumer behavior.
Duane Sablan (FDMS '05)

Attorney Duane J. Sablan, FD’05, is a practicing attorney and works for the Office of the Attorney General – Civil Litigation & Solicitors Division.
Duane studied law at the William S. Richardson School of Law, University of Hawaii, Manoa and is the current Vice President of the Father Dueñas Memorial School Alumni Association.
John Illao (FDMS '85)
Mr. John Ilao, Vice President of JMI-Edison, Inc. a thriving company providing equipment for Guam’s medical, fitness, construction, electrical and culinary industries – from high-tech MRI machines to elevators.
John is a long-time civic leader on Guam volunteering his talent and expertise to many local organizations.
Gregory Perez (FDMS '67)
Mr. Gregory Perez “FDMS’67” was President of Perez Brothers, Inc. managing the Perez Group of companies.
He founded Perez Insurance Brokers, Inc. in 1997 and grew the business to carry outside accounts across the common lines of insurance, including commercial, medical, life, home and auto. PIBI brokers for Calvo’s Insurance, Cassidy’s Associated Insureres and Great National Insurance Underwriters.
He is the current Project Manager for T&WMCDS/Pacific Unlimited, Inc.
Leonard Calvo (FDMS '88)
Mr. Leonard P. Calvo, FDMS Class of 1988.
Vice President of Calvo Enterprises, Inc. “Len” is in charge of all CEI real estate matters .
University of Portland Graduate.
Married to Natalie and has 3 sons who attended FDMS: Nainoa ‘FD15, Lenny FD17 and Matias FD19.
Len is a big FD Sports fan, especially wrestling and Rugby.
Michael Gatewood (FDMS '03)
Attorney Michael J. Gatewood, FD’03, is the current Secretary of the Foundation. “Mike” is in private legal practice on Guam specializing in business formations, corporate and finance, and commercial and civil litigation. Prior to opening his private law firm, Mike worked as an associate with Iriarte, Camacho, Calvo Law Group, LLC and prior to that at Carlsmith Ball, LLP law firm. He studied law at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law.
Jay Jones (FDMS '87)
Mr. Jay Jones, FD’87, is the Senior Vice President of Triple J Enterprises, Inc., and a graduate of Elon University in North Carolina. He is the past President of the Saipan Chamber of Commerce and the Commonwealth Automobile Dealers Association and has served on the Board of Directors for the Rotary Club of Saipan and the Northern Marianas College Foundation. He was selected as the Saipan Chamber of Commerce’s 2001 Business Person of the Year, a distinction he shares with his father, the founder of Triple J, Mr. Robert H. Jones. He is currently the President of the Guam Automobile Dealer’s Association; Vice Chair, Make a Wish Foundation Guam & CNMI and Director, Guam Cycling Federation. Jay is married to Deane Jessee-Jones and has a daughter Jenna and two sons, Jacob and Jeremy that carry on the tradition at Father Dueñas.
Harry Chang (FDMS '91)
Mr. Harry Chang, “FD’91”, is a very successful entrepreneur and business leader on Guam and around the Pacific Rim. His business outreach span real estate development, IT and the food service industry.
Richard Untalan (FDMS '72)
Mr. Richard J. Untalan, FDMS Class of 1972, is the Owner and President of CU Holdings, Inc., a real estate development company comprising of Compadres Mall and TRI real estate assets.
He is very active with the Catholic Church and currently is the President of the Archdiocesan Finance Council and also involved with other church organizations and activities.
Gurvinder "Bic" S. Sobti (FDMS '80)
Mr. Gurvander Sobti, FD’80, and better known on Guam as “Bic” is a well respected business and civic executive on Guam. Bic is the owner of International Royal Bic, Inc. He is very active with his civic outreach, being a member of the Guam Int’l Airport’s Board of Directors for many years working on Guam-U.S. military buildup, infrastructure and transportation.
His wife Sati and family also run the RPM Yamaha dealership on Guam.
Andrew Eusebio, DDS (FDMS '74)
Doctor Andrew Eusebio – Director Emeritus – is co-owner of the Order Dental Clinic.
“Drew” is a charter member of the FD Endowment Foundation.
Drew received his Dentistry degree from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry.
Drew’s passion is basketball, especially FDMS basketball. He is the founder and former President of the FDMS Alumni Association and the founder of the FDMS Alumni Association Summer Basketball Tournament.
All the boys in his family are FDMS alumni and are very proud of it.
Felix Reyes (FDMS '74)
Felixberto (Felix) Sablan Reyes was born in Saipan and moved to Guam in 1970 to attend FDMS. He is one of four boys from his family who attended FDMS. He attended the University of Guam and the University of Hawaii after which he managed several hotels and retail outlets on Guam. He served as Vice President of GHRA for more than seven years. He also worked for DFS Guam and taught at GWHS prior to working at GVB from where he retired in 2015. He is a Certified Corporate Trainer and has many altruistic interests in the community, especially in fisheries and resource management.
Robert Salas II (FDMS '00)
Mr. Robert Salas, II, “FD’00” is a former Director at Landscape Management Systems, Inc. (LMS), doing most of Guam’s landscape work and military projects and also developed and manage the Guam Windward Memorial – a private, well-landscaped cemetery opened in 2014.
He recently formed Pacific Federal Management, Inc. performing various services for federal contracts, including native plant reforestation and proposal management.
“Rob” previously worked at Price Waterhouse as a CPA and Attorney.
The Father Dueñas Memorial School (FDMS) Endowment Foundation is a 501(c)3, non-profit organization created to support the school in perpetuity through wise investments and management of received funds and/or endowments.
